Twas a moonless night...because the sun had exploded! Earth is no more and humanity now lives among the stars, either cruising for centauries among the great generation ships or traversing the perils of folded space. A gallant crew of misfits steals a time -atron from the galactic robot empire in a desperate bid to escape from this harsh era, but it malfunctions, bringing back an unlikely hero from the past.
